Leasing of Aspire at Discovery Park starts
October 18, 2018
Aspire at Discovery Park, an 831-bed apartment complex, is hosting a grand opening event Thursday from 2-6 p.m.
Another housing option will begin taking applicants this week in preparation for its opening next fall.
Aspire at Discovery Park, an 831-bed apartment complex was the first addition announced in the $1.2 billion Discovery Park District bordering the campus’ western edge.
Browning Investments, an Indianapolis-based consulting firm, was contracted by the University to lead the development of the 450-acre district, envisioned as a mixed-use gateway to campus with space for retail, research, commerce and leisure.
Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, a leading developer and operator of infrastructure projects for the college and university market, and Walsh Investments, a Chicago-based infrastructure and real estate investment firm, were enlisted by Browning to build and manage the complex.
Aspire will include studio, two-bedroom and four-bedroom units, according to information provided by Mandy Bunch, the community manager at Aspire, along with a significant amount of retail space.
Thursday’s event will feature food trucks, giveaways and and model tours, Bunch said, and perks are being offered to those who complete applications at the event.
